FRIJOLES NEGROS
Los primeros tres anos despues de la siembra, la planta de cafe no produce grano. Es en este tiempo que se siembra frijol entre los zurcos. Esto da una cosecha comercial adicional, y la planta de frijol mantiene humedad en el suelo y lo fertiliza con nitrogeno.
BLACK BEANS
During the first three years after planting, the coffee trees do no produce. During this time, black beans are cultivated between the rows of coffee. The beans provide an additional commercial crop, help the coffee by holding moisture in the soil and naturally fertilize the soil with nitrogen.
